Understanding and finding opportunities for inclusive mentorship and sponsorships in vascular surgery

Deliberate efforts are needed to address the lack of diversity in vascular surgery workforce and correct current scarcity leadership. Effective mentorship sponsorship crucial for success academic surgery. In present report, we have explained importance relationships surgeons historically underrepresented medicine, discussed unique challenges faced by them surgery, provided a practical framework fostering intentional thoughtful mentor sponsor nurture their careers.
